DRAKONERIUS

A six-string guitar for Maurizio, guitarist for the heavy metal band “Ironthorn”.

“Eclipse by Nadar Guitars” classic-style body, with the surface enhanced by alternating ridges and valleys to enrich the reflections and nuances on a matte finish that would otherwise be too flat.

The choice of purple from the NCS color range is the defining feature that also influenced the color of the LEDs on the fretboard, which replace the traditional dots.

The inlay at the first fret, depicting a dragon’s head, gives the instrument its name: Drakonerius!

The choice of active pickups (a “Humbucker Dual Ceramic” at the bridge by MAGNETICS™ PICKUPS and, at the neck, the SUSTAINIAC single-coil system) was another key feature: the combination of a high-output humbucker paired with the single-coil pickup or the resonance effect of the Sustainiac allows for a wide range of tones and effects that are very difficult to achieve otherwise.

This instrument, born from the collaboration and synergy with the musician, has allowed us to create a unique and original guitar.
